Bridget Marumo
Bridget was born in Botswana and moved to the UK at the age of five. A performer from a young age, they trained at Dance City, SA Performing Arts School and Circus Central, developing a wide range of performance skills.
Their theatre work includes We Are The Best! (Live Theatre), Godspell (SA Performing Arts School, directed by Lee Proud), and In the Black Fantastic (South Bank Centre, London). On screen they have appeared in Danny and Mick (CBBC), A Kind of Spark (BBC) and Casualty (BBC). Bridget also featured on BBC Radio 4, playing Bonnie in I Must Have Loved You by Michael Chaplin with music by and starring Sting.
Bridget first worked with Cap-a-Pie as a performer in The Vanishing Act and was inspired to join the board by their belief in the power of creativity for young people. As a trustee, they are passionate about inclusivity, supporting children from all backgrounds and helping young people find confidence through creativity.
