Jack Gardner
Jack Gardner is a teacher and Arts Leader at Hotspur Primary School, Newcastle; a school recognised for its excellent provision of the arts. Through numerous art projects led by Jack the school has been awarded Platinum Arts Award and Historic England Status.
Prior to working as a teacher Jack trained in Theatre and Performance at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds and then went onto work as a drama facilitator for Seven Stories Centre for Children’s Books, Live Theatre, Big Foot Arts Organisation, Taking Part Workshops, and Tricycle Theatre London.
Jack continues to write and perform in his spare time, having recently put on shows at Alphabetti Theatre and previously Live Theatre.
He is passionate about local culture of which he believes Cap-a-Pie plays an essential part in.
