Barbara Priestman School

In June 2016 Barbara Priestman Academy’s production of What Are They Like? was chosen out of 500 other companies to perform at the National Theatre Connections Festival at National Theatre, London.

The show was absolutely brilliant and we are very proud of the pupils and Brad McCormick from Cap-a-Pie who directed the show.

In 2018 they are premiering their new production ‘Want’.

7pm, 7 February, Arts Centre Washington – £5

Cap-a-Pie has been working with Barbara Priestman Academy, Sunderland since 2009, developing innovative approaches to teaching and learning alongside staff and pupils.
