Creative Enquirer’s Toolkit

This course is for you if you already have a feel for creative enquiry or have taken part in our Creative Enquiry Based Learning course. Participants will leave with a toolkit of advanced creative classroom techniques which will enable greater flexibility and support you to move from teacher to facilitator.

The Dramatic Enquiry

A ground-breaking approach pioneered by Cap-a-Pie, The Dramatic Enquiry is a distinct fusion of the teaching strategies of Philosophy for Children (P4C) and Theatre in Education.

Each day can be taken as standalone CPD however we recommend participation in our Creative Enquiry Based Learning course prior to the Toolkit course.

We provide a full consultancy service supporting whole school improvement through enquiry based practice and professional development. Our professional development opportunities include Creative Enquiry Based Learning, The Dramatic Enquiry, Visible Learning, Creative activities in the Primary & Secondary classroom and Mantle of the Expert.

WORKING WITH COMMUNITIES

We engage children and young people in learning through partnerships with Local Authorities, Charities and Community organisations. We work with a range of groups including Children in Care Councils, Young Offenders' Institutions, Families who Foster, Looked After children, NEET young people and those at risk.

THEATRE & FILM PRODUCTION

We use our core values of collective enquiry and a commitment to thinking differently together to create high quality professional Theatre and Film Productions. From devising bespoke productions to performing Waiting for Godot directed by seven year olds, we are practitioners who thrive on new challenges.
